Possibility and Actuality: Towards a Manifesto on Evolutionary Systems
Organizers: SIG Emergent Systems, Information and Society (supported by the Leibniz- Sozietät der Wissenschaften zu Berlin and the Bertalanffy Center for the Study of Systems Science) and the Institut für Design Science München
The idea of this panel is to discuss various aspects and problems of a draft text on the nature of evolutionary systems and their relationship to the fundamental concepts of matter and information. Members of the SIG had a previous meeting on this topic already in Nürnberg, Germany, in the late summer of last year. The discussion shall be continued now within a larger framework. Participants are welcome.
